Who you are and where do you come from? I’m obviously french, I come from Saint Etienne and I’m just a guy running with a map.
How long you have compeeted in orienteering and do you have some other athletic background? I’ve been orienteering for as long as I can remember. I don’t have any athletic background, just orienteering.
Your orienteering careers highligh and / or the best performance? In sprint, probably the knock-out champs from this year. In forest, maybe my first leg at the relay world champs in 2021.
Your goal at orienteering? Get better ! And maybe if I do that, I will be able to get some piece of metal one day.
Favorite terrain? Larzac, France. Always so fun to train there.
Which and what compass do you use and why? Decathlon Racer 900, very good reactivity/stability trade-off and probably the most competitive price on the market
What do you do, when you start to do mistake at orienteering? I breathe, stay calm and focus on the things I can do to make things better.
Your motto? Calme, Lucide, Efficace
Taste of music? A bit of everything, with a preference for rock/hip hop.
What’s best of about orienteering? Exploration, whole body and mind dedication and connection to nature.
What’s best about the club Helsingin Suunnistajat? Competitive club with a lot of youngsters ! Can’t wait to see what we can achieve in the coming years.
